Family Pictures

Here are some pictures taken on Christmas Day when everyone was arriving. Nicholas looks a little silly but Tracie is going to super impose another head on him looking forward "Grin". Anyway, hopefully she has a better group shot. Had a nice day and send all our love to everyone reading this post. Happy New Years coming 2008! Can't believe it.

Emily Performs in Winter Concert

Emily played 12 songs in her very first Winter Concert debut at Stetson Hills School. She is so sweet and a joy to be around. As you can see, she plays the flute. We were really impressed at how well her group played. Can't wait for her next performance. Way to go Sweet Emily!

Sheri Babe - Prep School Physics Class Project

The competition for extra credit, which was awarded to the catapults which shot the furthest distance, was intense and both the traditional models and the trebuchets had some impressive trials. When the dust settled at the end of the day, however, the most successful device belonged to Aubrey Gender, Gabby Gugachev, and Sheri Turner. Their model fired an impressive distance of just over 100 feet. (Great job Sheri Babe...your group rocked)

More Pictures from Aaron and Carolina's Visit

As you can see there was lots of singing and laughing.....well maybe lots of laughing and some singing! It was so nice to have everyone together to see Aaron and Carolina. They are such a cute couple and we loved spending time with them. (Heather and Jennifer were in their cheer outfits because they just came from cheering at their school basketball game.) Justin is holding Grayson.

Aaron and Sweet Carolina Visiting Arizona

This was a great evening of fun with Aaron and Carolina visiting. Bob brought the pizza (yummy) and Jason brought the karoke machine (funny)! These are just a few of the many pictures taken. We had lots of fun and you can tell they all love to sing "Grin".

Jessica was one of 30 students who played. She was last and played "Aria De Mezzo Carattere" and it was awesome. Trying to keep up with all the grandkids events is does Dottie go to 29 "Grin". It is so much fun and we wouldn't miss any of them. Next up is the Christmas Carol play, Winter Choir Concert and then Emily's flute concert.

Jennifer in a Church Musical Play "A King is Coming to Town"

Jennifer had lots of fun being in this Church Musical Play with her friends. It was about a town learning that a King is Coming to Town and they started preparing and trying to find out just who this King is. First they thought it was Elvis the King of Rock and Roll, then King Tut and even King Kong before they realized it was the Christ the King and they learned all about his Glory and celebrated his presence in their hearts and town. (This was a tribute to the real King) The play was fun to watch; I am hoping John can put a clip on his blog or maybe send a copy up to Vickie to show everyone.

Christopher's Knee Upate

Christopher having his first therapy session just 2 days after surgery. You can see his knee in one picture with the heavy bandages removed. They took a piece of his hamstring and made a new ACL for his knee. Just amazing. He is putting some weight on it now and will be doing extensive therapy next week when the swelling is down further. Good job Chris!

Christopher's Surgery 11/27/07

Chris was happy going back to surgery, and a little groggy when he came out to go home (sun in his eyes). What a trooper. The doctor gave Tracie a video of the complete surgery...we will all watch it soon to see what he went through. His doctor was so nice and one of the best here in Phoenix dealing with knee injuries. Thank you for all your prayers.

Chillin' at the Beach

We had a really nice time at the beach. John even took me to "Bubba Gump" for a GREAT dinner. I had the best fresh shrimp ever and John had a tasty steak. We sat next to a window looking out at the ocean and enjoyed our time together. (Brandye had to stay in the car when we went to the restaurant)

Then I just through in a cute picture of Heather and her best friend Tristan before the performance. Was fun to watch. John will be posting more on his blog.

Justin's Football Team Gets A Win...YEAH!

Heather, Grandpa John and Coach Al are happy to see the "Cowboys" -- the football team Justin plays on finally get their first win. If you look real close on the play, Justin is on the ground after tackling the runner. What a day he had on defense and offense...he gets to play both sides of the ball. Congratulations Justin....I know your team has worked really hard and deserved the WIN.

Grandpa Great and Jennifer Cheering

Found this cute picture of Grandpa Great and Jennifer doing a cheer and thought I would post it. He loved his Ohio State Buckeyes Team and Jennifer loved her North Point Prep Team. Just too cute they are! I truly miss Dad's playful way with all the grandkids. He was so much fun and always loved being just ONE of the kids!
