Logan Brodee - First Great Grandson

Meet Logan Brodee...John's and my first Great Grandson. He was born July 2nd and was 7lbs 8oz. He is one cutie and quite the keeper. So tiny and precious! Hard to believe we have graduated to Great Grandparents!

Happy 60th Birthday Chicky Vickie

Fun with Dottie, Chicky, John, Bob and Lindsay

We had so much fun having Dottie here in Arizona if only for 24 hours (way too short a time). Anway, after her grand surprise of showing up at my door to attend Sheri's baby shower and we all recovered from shock "Grin" John, Vickie and I met Bob and Lindsay for Mexican food. It was fun and they didn't even have to ask us to leave for being too loud "Grin". (Dottie...thank you so much for coming down to the shower...you made it extra special for Sheri Babe)

I was just thinking that it will be nice when Chicky finally gets her internet up and running again. Even though she is here in Arizona and I can drop by and see her anytime or call...I still miss seeing her clever blogs and comments. John and Our New BBQ - Way Too Funny!

Yes...we got a new BBQ and John decided to put it together inside the house "go figure" Grin!! He kind of looked like Steve when he was doing his taxes on Tami's post. Anyway...after a thousand nuts and bolts found their place (with a few were left over...hmm men should really read the instructions) it was finally put together. Now if it WILL ONLY FIT THROUGH THE BACK DOOR! Never fear...he did get it through and we had some really nice steaks for dinner. Yummy...hey...where is Kolton..he makes the best steaks EVER.

What Should Emily, Sheri and I Do Today...Lets Crochet

Love to keep our idle hands busy...wow...look at Emily and Sheri go. They will each be pros before you know it. I love to crochet and it is fun teaching the girls!!!! Course..the joke is that even though I finish a lot of the ones I start...I still have about six I need to finish "Grin". Hopefully, they will finish their projects!!!

Trip to Cottonwood, Jerome and Sedona

Was a nice time to get away for some R&R. The weather was nice except for the one day...see how dark the clouds were...lots of rain. John is sitting on a bench in a doggie park in Sedona. Brandye was having fun. Jerome was very interesting...lots of wild west history and our campground was next to the Verde River in Cottonwood

Cousins from Ohio - Sarah and Dave Hug

It was fun having Dave and Sarah over while they were visiting Arizona from Ohio. Bob and Lindsay came over too. Bob and Sarah were pool partners and Dave and I were partners and needless to say the better team won two out of three games...that being Dave and I "Grin"...better luck next time Bob..practice up and maybe you can be the next winner "LOL. Lindsay was a good sport cheering both teams on. We celebrated our with pies from Marie Calendars...yummy!! Can't wait for them to come back to visit next year!!

M&M Puzzle Finally Completed! Yeah!!!!!

Sheri and I finally completed this puzzle and I have to admit it was hard! Sheri did the most..she has a really keen puzzle eye "Grin". And yes..we can say Cool Grandpa John helped..he found a piece on the floor. LOL

Gold Rush Days in Wickenburg - John and Ginger

We drove about 50 miles up to the town of Wickenburg for their Gold Rush Days. Kind of a tradition for this town every year. Look at John buying us each a sundae...yummy! We sat down and listened to a blue grass band while we ate them. It was as a fun day walking around the town, seeing all the vender tents, antique autos on display, lots of food, fun watching all the people. A sunshine R&R day for John and I. This whole week has been fun...we also went to the Renaissance Festival out in Apache Juntion...see John's blog for pictures of that fun day.

Over for Breakfast and School

I took the kids to school on Monday....even had Christopher...whom I took to work...a Grandma's and Grandpa's love always at work "Grin". Was fun...Chris has made his hair blonder to match his band look. Sheri, Jennifer, Heather and Nicholas are cuties too.

Super Bowl Pictures - Fun Times

These are just a few of the 107 pictures I took at our Super Bowl party and doesn't show all 28 that attended. It was lots of fun...but the Cardinals didn't win....bummer. Since I am a Steelers fan of 40 years...I guess it was a Win..Win for me "Grin". Ate lots, cheered and yelled a lot and just had a fun time. Go Cardinals next season!!!!

Fun with Sheri Babe

Sheri came over Saturday to spend the evening and we had lots of fun. Went to the Olive Garden, shopping at the mall, put an M&M circular puzzle together (well trying to..it is hard...thanks Kimberly "Grin" for giving it to me) Sheri is really good at finding the pieces, watching John paint his little tiny bottles for one of his train shops, making home made ice cream and brownies and oh yes...just spending time together.

Fun with Jason & Family in Prescott

Jason invited John and I to go up to Prescott with them for a few days....wow...that was really nice, fun, loving, gracious and just lots of good quality time. It's a good thing Jason is an avid mountain climber so he could get Kimberly up to the top of the mountain!!!!! "Grin" Too much fun!!!

Christmas Day Pictures

John and I went to Christmas Eve service at Shiloh. Jason preached three services and I know everyone went away blessed as we celebrated Christ's birth. Then on Christmas day, we had a really nice afternoon with all the kids. We ate a lot, played Grab a Gift, Give a Gift, Gifts on the Go Game made up by Ginger...lots of G's. Jason and Kimberly gave us a Karaoke machine so we sang our hearts out. Tracie brought Tim and Allie over too. Brian danced with Kimberly. Love my family and was thankful we could share this time together.

When Jason was younger he used to play the piano in different styles "Grin", I would find him playing on the floor and yes playing the keys...too funny. He can still do it today. Travis Comes to Arizona

Joshua, Emily and Justin Came to Visit

Jason celebrated Kimberly's birthday this weekend with a special surprise so we had Emily and Joshua and Justin with us...Yeah!!! Justin is an artist too. One picture is of his dad, Jason, as a young boy...he drew it really light so it is a little hard to see but nicely done. Emily came fully packed for fun. LOL Joshua still has a brace on his knew after a basketball injury but will soon have it off. The video is of him laying back and playing my guitar. Joshua and Justin also went to a Ball on Saturday with their friends but you will have to wait to see pictures when Joshua posts them on his blog...(they looked really sharp) They are so much fun to have visit!!!!

Thanksgiving Day

It was so much fun having Bob and Lindsay over for Thanksgiving. We laughed, ate, laughed and then ate some more "Grin". Stephen, Jackson, Grayson, Zack and Evangalina came over later in the day to play pool. And yes...Bob and John partnered up and beat the young guys Stephen and Zack BIG TIME. Jason, Kimberly, Joshua, Justin, Kimberly and Emily came over in the evening and yes Jason and Justin then beat John and Joshua in pool. What a blessing each of them are. John and I thank each of them for making our day special!

Afternoon at the Park

It was fun having Nicholas, Jessica and Emily over for the afternoon. Emily did really good at getting the tennis ball back; Jessica and Nicholas played pretend tennis "Grin". It was fun!!! Emily's cousin Savannah was at the park too. This was just before the rain and hail hit us! Wow!!!!

Chris Rocking with Comes a Horseman Christian Band

Christopher is the one on the left. This was at one of his concerts. We went and saw him perform at Castles and Coasters last night at 8:30 and then they had another show at at a Church in Scottsdale at 11:30. Pretty loud to say the least but they did play well. Not sure I understood the screamo part of it "Grin" but did really like hearing and seeing Chris play with the group "Comes A Horseman."

Heather and Jennifer Sing Away!!!

Heather and Jennifer both performed last night. Jennifer sang with the high school choir and performed with their show choir ; Heather sang with the Jr. High group. Tracie was very proud of her girls as were we!!!!

Weekend trip to Cabin in Payson, AZ

We went to Payson this weekend with Lynn and Nancy to see their new cabin. They took us out in their Rhino ATV, we laughed a lot, we girls drank wine "Grin", had a fire, played pool in their game room in their basement, went hiking and just enjoyed the cool country. So much fun!!!! Can't wait to do it again!

Day Hike - Beautiful Sedona, Arizona

It was a really fun day hiking in Sedona with Sarah, Brian and John. Weather was cool and we walked the 7 mile round trip with vim and vigor...well we tried "Grin".

Jessica came over yesterday and we made one of the puzzles I bought when I was in Oregon at a garage sale with my sister Dottie. Anyway, we made it in several hours (well I should say Jessica made most of it "Grin"). It was fun!
